Creator Program Agreement

Version 1 · Effective September 20, 2026

This agreement is between you and Amblee LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("Amblee", "we", "us"). It covers the Amblee creator program. You tell people about Amblee. When people you send become paying members, we pay you commission.

Accepting this agreement. You accept it by ticking the box when you apply. We keep a record of which version you accepted and when. Your code doesn't credit anyone until you've accepted. When we publish a new version, we'll ask you to accept it the next time you sign in to your creator account, and section 16 explains how changes work. Using your code, or taking part in the program in any other way, also means you accept it. If you don't agree, don't take part.

Applying for a business. If you apply for a business, you accept this agreement for that business and confirm you're allowed to. "You" then means both the business and the person who applied, and the rules on content and conduct apply to both.

If you also use Amblee as a member, our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy cover that. This agreement covers the program.

The short version. The full terms below are what count.

  • Say you're paid, every time, in the content itself. "#ad" at the start works.

  • You must be an adult whom Stripe can pay where you live. Today that means the United States. You can join as yourself or through your business.

  • Your code credits you only for new members who enter it before they start paying.

  • Your code gives nobody a discount or extra free time. Whenever you ask people to use it, say it doesn't change their price.

  • Every creator earns the same 30% of net proceeds: what's left of a payment after Apple's or Stripe's cut and any tax. You earn it for 12 months per member, starting with their first payment, however many subscriptions they have. At today's US App Store prices, while Apple's commission is 15% under its Small Business Program, that's $1.27 per monthly payment and $12.74 per yearly one. At Apple's standard 30% it's $1.04 and $10.49 (section 04).

  • Subscriptions bought in the app and on amblee.co both count, toward the same 12 months. Commission on App Store payments outside the US shows as clearing until Apple's own figures for them arrive, and is then paid in US dollars with the rest.

  • Each commission is held for 60 days. It's then paid through Stripe early the next month, once you're owed $25 or more. We pay Stripe's payout fees.

  • If a member's payment is refunded or disputed, even in part, we take back the whole commission on it, from future payouts if we've already paid it.

  • You're a contractor and handle your own taxes. Stripe collects your tax details. We never ask for them by email.

  • Amblee is a self-restriction tool, not treatment. Never promise an outcome.

  • Never promote gambling in the same post as Amblee. No audiences under 18. No brand-keyword ads, coupon sites, paid installs, fake reviews or spam. Don't review Amblee on the App Store yourself.

  • You never learn who the members are. Don't try to find out.

  • If we end this because you broke the rules or committed fraud, we decide case by case whether to keep the unpaid commission tied to it or pay it to you.

  • Either of us can end this. We give you 14 days' notice unless you've broken the rules. If it ends for any reason other than your breach, a member credited to you earns you their 12 months only if their first payment is no later than 30 days after the end date. Once nothing more can earn, we pay what's left, even if it's under $25. If we end it because you broke the rules, it ends right away and nothing earns after that.

01Who can join

You can join if all of these are true:

  • You're at least 18, and old enough to sign a contract where you live. In the US that's 19 in Alabama and Nebraska, and 21 in Mississippi.

  • Stripe can pay you where you live, or where your business is based, through the payout setup we offer. Today that's the United States only. We'll add other countries only once Stripe payouts are available there.

  • You're joining as yourself (a sole proprietor counts), or for a business you own or are allowed to act for, such as an LLC, corporation or partnership.

  • Neither you nor your business is named on a US sanctions list or based in a country under US sanctions.

  • You don't own or work for Amblee, and you don't live with anyone who does.

We pay everyone the same way, through Stripe (section 06), and in no other way. So we approve only creators we can pay through Stripe. If Stripe can't pay you where you live, we can't approve you.

Tell us when you apply if any of these is true. They may change whether you can join or what you can say.

  • You're a licensed clinician, counselor or therapist, or you work in gambling treatment or recovery services.

  • A sportsbook, casino, prediction market or other gambling business pays you, or you promote one.

  • Most of your audience is under 18, or is people in active crisis. We won't approve either.

We decide who joins. We don't have to give a reason for turning down an application.

02Joining, your code and your account

  1. You apply at amblee.co/creators or from the creator screen in the Amblee app, and you tick the box to accept this agreement. Applying doesn't make you a creator.

  2. If we approve you, we email you your code. It credits members from then on.

  3. Your code is yours alone. You can't sell it, transfer it or hand it to other promoters. We choose codes. We may change yours if it clashes with another code, with someone else's name or trademark, or is offensive, and we'll tell you before we do.

  4. You sign in at amblee.co/creators/login with your email address. We email you a six-digit code when you sign in. There's no password, so keep control of that email account. Tell us right away at creators@amblee.co if someone else may be able to get into it.

  5. Keep your details current, including your email. Stripe holds your payout details, and you keep them current with Stripe. We're not responsible for a payment sent to details you gave Stripe.

  6. If you have an Amblee member account, use the same email address for it as for your creator account, and verify it in the app. When the addresses match, we link your creator record to that account. We use the link to show your figures in the app and to stop your code crediting your own subscription. If your app account uses a different email, a phone number or Apple's Hide My Email, we can't link the two. See your figures on the web dashboard instead, and never use your code on that account (section 03).

03How your code credits you

A member credits you by entering your code in the Amblee app where it asks for one: when they sign up, or when the app asks how they heard about Amblee and they pick "Creator or influencer". Capitals, spaces and punctuation don't matter: "SAM", "sam" and "Sam!" all count. Your creator link (amblee.co/c/YOURCODE) shows your code with a copy button and a link to the App Store. The member still has to paste or type the code into the app.

Credit follows these rules.

  • The first code wins. Each member can be credited to one code, once. If they entered another code first, even a member's referral code, that one stands.

  • New members only. The code has to be entered within 14 days of the member creating their Amblee account, and before they start paying. For most people that means before their 7-day free trial ends.

  • No existing or past customers. Someone who's already paying for Amblee, on any account, isn't a new member. Neither is someone who has paid for Amblee before. We don't pay commission on them, even if a new account of theirs is credited to you. A subscription bought with an Apple ID that has already paid for Amblee stays with that Apple ID's first Amblee account, so it can't earn you commission through a new one.

  • Not you, and not your household. Your code must not be used for your own subscription, for anyone who lives with you, or for any account you created, control or pay for. We don't pay commission on those, and we'll remove any such credit and its commission.

  • No credit after the fact. If someone joins without your code, or enters it too late, we can't credit you, even if they tell us you sent them.

  • Codes that aren't live don't credit. A code credits nobody before you've accepted this agreement, while it's paused, or after this agreement ends (section 15).

  • Where members pay doesn't matter. A subscription bought through Apple in the Amblee app and one bought on amblee.co both count, and both count toward the same 12-month term for that member (section 04).

Your code gives the member nothing. On current versions of the Amblee app it gives no discount, no extra free time and no other perk. It only tells us you sent them. (A member on app version 1.0.3, the build shipped before this program opened, may still get extra trial days. That ends as those installs update. We don't offer it, and you must never promote it.) Every new member on a current version gets the same 7-day free trial, code or no code. Never call your code a discount, deal, coupon, promo code or free week. Whenever you ask people to use your code, say that it doesn't change their price. In creator content, "use my code" sounds like a discount, so this line is required. Section 08 has one you can use.

We decide from our records whether a member was credited to your code. We can correct mistakes in either direction.

04What you earn

Your rate is 30% of net proceeds. It's the same for every creator, and we don't agree different rates with anyone.

Net proceeds are worked out charge by charge:

  • Subscriptions bought through the App Store in the United States. The price of the charge as Apple reports it to us, minus any VAT, sales tax or similar tax included in that price, minus Apple's commission at the rate Apple charges Amblee on the day of the charge. Apple charges 15% while Amblee is in Apple's Small Business Program, and 30% otherwise.

  • Subscriptions bought through the App Store in any other country. The proceeds Apple reports for the charge in its App Store Connect financial reports, converted to US dollars at the exchange rate in those reports. Apple takes out local sales tax, VAT or similar tax first, then takes its commission, and reports what's left as proceeds.

  • Subscriptions bought on amblee.co. The amount the member paid for the charge, minus any sales tax, VAT or similar tax, minus the fees Stripe charges us for processing and billing that payment.

We don't take anything else off. We round net proceeds, and then each commission, down to the cent.

What earns. Each paid charge by a member credited to your code, during that member's 12-month term.

  • Each member has one term. It starts with their first paid charge credited to you, whether it's on the App Store or on amblee.co. The free trial earns nothing and doesn't count toward the term.

  • A new subscription never starts a new term. If a member cancels and later subscribes again, moves between the App Store and amblee.co, or has more than one subscription, the same term keeps running.

  • It ends at whichever comes first: 12 months of paid service across all of that member's subscriptions (12 monthly payments, or one yearly payment), or three days before the first anniversary of their first paid charge credited to you. A store can bill a renewal a day or two early, and the three days keep a 13th month out. A yearly renewal never earns.

  • If a member moves from monthly to yearly, the yearly payment earns only for the months left in their 12. For example, after 11 monthly payments, a yearly payment earns 1/12 of $12.74, which is $1.06. At today's US App Store prices, one member can earn you at most $15.24.

  • A payment whose commission we reverse before we pay you on it — refunded, disputed or charged back, in full or in part — doesn't count toward the 12 months.

  • If the rate ever changes under section 16, commission already recorded doesn't change.

For example, a member first pays monthly in the app on March 10, cancels after three payments, and subscribes yearly on amblee.co in November. That's still one term. It started on March 10, and it can run no later than March 7 the following year. The yearly payment earns only for the 9 months left of their 12, and once those 12 months are covered nothing more earns.

Examples, at today's US App Store prices and Apple's 15% Small Business Program commission:

PlanPriceNet proceedsYour 30%Most per member
Monthly$4.99$4.24$1.27 per charge$15.24 (12 charges)
Yearly$49.99$42.49$12.74, once$12.74

If Apple's commission is 30%, the same charges earn $1.04 and $10.49 (at most $12.48 per member). On amblee.co the same 30% applies to what's left after Stripe's fees, so the figures differ. If our prices change, commission follows the price actually charged.

Payments outside the US. Amblee is also sold outside the US.

  • On the App Store, net proceeds come from Apple's own figures, as defined above. Until Apple's figures for a charge arrive, its commission shows on your dashboard as clearing, and the amount isn't final. Once they're in and the 60-day hold has passed (section 05), we pay it in US dollars in the normal monthly payout.

  • On amblee.co, commission on a charge in another currency is worked out the same way, in that currency. It's then converted to US dollars at a published market exchange rate for the day of the charge, and paid in US dollars with the rest of your commission, in the same monthly payout.

What doesn't earn:

  • free trials, free access (including App Store offer codes) and anything else the member doesn't pay for;

  • charges after a member's 12-month term, as defined above;

  • after an ending without a breach, charges by a member whose first paid charge credited to you came more than 30 days after the end date (section 15);

  • test purchases (App Store sandbox, TestFlight and Stripe test mode);

  • charges that are refunded, disputed, reversed or charged back, in full or in part, or that Apple or Stripe doesn't pay us for;

  • charges we have no record of. Apple and Stripe tell us about each charge. If they don't tell us, we can't pay on it. If we later find a charge we missed, we'll add it;

  • anything that comes from breaking this agreement (sections 10, 11 and 15).

Commission is the only money we pay. We don't pay per post, per install, per trial or per signup, and we don't cover your expenses. We may give you free Amblee access for your own use through an App Store offer code. It earns nobody commission, and you must disclose it (section 08).

05Holds, refunds and clawbacks

  • The 60-day hold. Each commission is held for 60 days from the date of the charge. Then it becomes payable. Commission on an App Store charge outside the US also waits for Apple's figures (section 04), so it becomes payable once both have happened.

  • Why we hold it. Apple, Stripe and card issuers can refund or reverse a member's payment, and Apple doesn't publish a deadline for refunds. The hold gives most refunds time to come in before you're paid.

  • Refunded or disputed before you're paid: the commission is canceled. You won't see a negative balance for it.

  • Refunded or disputed after you're paid: we take the same amount off your next payouts. This is a clawback.

  • Part of a charge counts as the whole charge. If part of a charge is refunded, or part of it is disputed or charged back, we reverse the whole commission on that charge, just as for a full refund. That's the same on the App Store and on amblee.co.

  • Refund reversed: if a refund or chargeback is reversed, or a dispute is decided in our favor, the commission comes back.

  • We don't send bills. We won't ask you to repay a clawback out of your own pocket. If this agreement or the program ends with clawbacks we couldn't recover, we write them off. The exception is fraud or a breach of section 11: then we can ask you to repay.

  • Our mistakes. If we pay you more than you're owed by mistake, we take it off future payouts. If the program has ended, you agree to pay it back within 30 days of our asking.

06Getting paid

When. We prepare payouts in the first three days of each month (UTC) and send them through Stripe within 10 business days of the 1st. A commission that has become payable (section 05) by the time we prepare your payout goes out that month. Anything that becomes payable later goes out the following month.

The minimum. We pay once your payable balance is $25 or more. Below that, it rolls over to the next month. After this agreement ends, once nothing more can earn for you (section 15 explains when that is) and nothing is still in the hold or clearing, we pay whatever is left, even if it's under $25.

Through Stripe. We pay every creator by bank transfer through Stripe Connect, and in no other way. Sign in at amblee.co/creators/login and press "Set up payouts". Stripe's own form asks for your legal name, date of birth, address, taxpayer ID and bank account, and, for a business, details about the business and the people who own or run it. Stripe collects these, not us. Stripe's Connected Account Agreement and privacy policy apply to your Stripe account. We send each payout to your Stripe account, and Stripe sends it on to your bank automatically each day. It usually arrives within a few business days. Your first payout may take longer while Stripe verifies you.

Until you've finished Stripe setup, your balance stays payable. It goes out with the first payout after setup is done. We don't pay interest on money waiting for setup.

Holding a payout. We can hold a payout before it's sent while we look into a problem. For example, your payout bank details changed and you may not be the one who changed them, or we suspect fraud. We'll tell you by email. Once the problem is resolved, the money goes out in the next monthly payout, unless section 15 lets us keep it.

Fees. We pay Stripe's fees for sending your payouts. Any fees your own bank charges are yours.

Currency. We send every payout in US dollars, through Stripe, to a US bank account.

Taking what you owe us out of what we owe you. We can take anything you owe us under this agreement, such as clawbacks and overpayments, off what we owe you.

Your figures. Your dashboard shows what you've earned, what's in the hold, what's clearing (App Store commission from outside the US that's waiting for Apple's figures), what's payable and what's been paid. Counts and money figures update once a day. Your payout setup and the date of the next payout are live. Our records decide what's owed. If you think a figure is wrong, email creators@amblee.co within 90 days of the payout, or of the month of the charge you're asking about. We'll look into it and tell you what we find.

Money we can't deliver. Sometimes we can't pay you: you haven't finished Stripe setup, or Stripe can't pay the account you gave it. Then we keep the money for you and email you. If we still can't pay you, we handle it as the unclaimed-property law that applies requires.

07Taxes

  • You're an independent contractor. We don't withhold income tax, Social Security or Medicare from your payouts, and we don't provide benefits.

  • You're responsible for all taxes on what you earn from the program, wherever you live.

  • We collect tax information only through Stripe's payout setup. We never ask you for a tax form or taxpayer ID by email.

  • If you're a US taxpayer, we file Form 1099 (the IRS form that reports what we paid you) with the IRS and send you a copy when the law requires it. Whether it does depends on how much we pay you in a calendar year. We file through Stripe's tax reporting.

  • If you're not a US taxpayer, we don't file a Form 1099 for you.

  • If you don't give Stripe a valid taxpayer ID, we may hold your payouts until you do. If the law requires it, we may have to hold back 24% of your payouts for the IRS. This is called backup withholding.

  • Nothing we tell you about taxes is tax advice.

08Say you're paid, every time

US advertising law, as the FTC explains in its Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255), requires you to tell your audience that Amblee pays you, and holds us responsible too. So this is a condition of the program. Every piece of content that mentions Amblee or your code must say clearly that you're paid. That includes posts, videos, stories, livestreams, podcasts, newsletters, comments and replies. Tagging or mentioning @amblee counts as mentioning Amblee.

If you or your audience are outside the US, follow the disclosure rules there too. Where they ask for more than this section, do more.

What to say. Any of these works:

  • "#ad"

  • "Paid partner of Amblee"

  • "I earn money if you subscribe with my code"

  • "Amblee pays me when people subscribe with my code"

  • "This is a paid ad for Amblee"

In short formats, use "#ad" as the first thing in the caption. In anything longer, use a full sentence. This line covers the payment and the price, and you can use it whenever you ask people to use your code:

"Paid partner of Amblee. Using my code doesn't change your price. I earn money if you subscribe with it."

Where to say it. It has to be hard to miss.

  • In the content itself, before or at the first mention of Amblee. Not only at the end.

  • Visible without a click. Not only under "more", not only in your bio or profile, and not lost in a row of hashtags.

  • Out loud in video, audio and live content, and on screen as text in video.

  • In the same language as the content.

  • For as long as the content stays up.

  • Old posts too. If you posted about Amblee before joining and you re-share, pin or keep promoting that post, add the disclosure.

By format:

WhereWhat to do
Short video (TikTok, Reels, Shorts)Say it out loud when Amblee first comes up. Keep "#ad · Paid partner of Amblee" on screen while you talk about Amblee. Start the caption with "#ad". Turn on the platform's branded-content setting too (TikTok's branded-content toggle, Instagram's paid-partnership label).
Long video (YouTube)Say it when Amblee first comes up and show it on screen. Tick YouTube's paid-promotion box. Put the line at the top of the description.
Podcast or audioBefore the Amblee segment, say: "This part is a paid ad. Amblee pays me if you subscribe with my code." Put the line in the show notes too.
LivestreamSay it every time you bring up Amblee. Keep "#ad · Paid partner of Amblee" on screen while you do, and pin it in the chat.
Photo or text post (Instagram, Threads, X, Facebook, LinkedIn)Start the post with "#ad" or "Paid partner of Amblee".
StoriesPut "#ad" on every frame that mentions Amblee.
Newsletter, blog or websitePut "Paid partner of Amblee. I earn money if you subscribe with my code." at the top, or next to the first mention.
Comments, replies, forums, Reddit, DiscordIn every comment that mentions Amblee: "(I'm a paid partner of Amblee and earn money if you subscribe with my code.)"
Link pages (Linktree and similar)Next to the Amblee link: "Paid link. I earn money if you subscribe."

Use your platform's "paid partnership" label as well if it has one. It doesn't count on its own.

These don't count on their own: "#sp", "#spon", "#partner", "#collab", "#ambassador", "#amblee", "thanks Amblee", "affiliate", "code in bio", a disclosure only in your bio or profile, a disclosure only at the end, or a disclosure only in a video's description.

Never say or suggest that you're not paid, for example "not sponsored" or "nobody's paying me to say this". If we give you anything else, such as free Amblee access through an App Store offer code, disclose that too.

09What you can and can't say

This section is the rule. Our creator kit at amblee.co/creators/kit has examples, tips and the logo files. The kit is guidance, and we update it without notice. If the kit and this agreement ever disagree, this agreement wins.

Say only what's true and what you actually believe. Talk about your own experience only if you've actually used Amblee. If you haven't, don't suggest you have. If you stop using Amblee, stop saying you use it.

Amblee is a self-restriction tool, not treatment. You must not:

  • say or suggest that Amblee treats, cures, heals or fixes gambling addiction, gambling disorder or any other condition;

  • call it therapy, treatment, a recovery program, medical care or clinically proven, or quote recovery or success rates;

  • make health claims, such as that it reduces cravings, anxiety or depression;

  • diagnose anyone, or tell someone they are, or aren't, an addict;

  • present Amblee as a substitute for professional help;

  • recommend Amblee in a professional role. If you're a clinician, counselor or other professional, don't say things like "as a therapist, I recommend Amblee". Amblee hasn't been clinically evaluated.

Never promise an outcome. You must not:

  • say Amblee will stop anyone gambling, or guarantee that they'll save money;

  • use "guaranteed", "risk-free", "you can't lose" or anything like them;

  • credit Amblee with any result, yours or anyone else's: money saved, bets avoided, or time without betting (for example, "Amblee got me 90 days clean"). You can talk about your own life and recovery, and how you use Amblee. Just don't credit Amblee with the outcome;

  • present a projection as a promise. If you show one, state its assumption ("$200 a month for 30 years at a 10% average annual return") and call it "a projection, not a promise";

  • give financial, investment, tax or legal advice as though it came from Amblee, or tie Amblee to an investment recommendation.

State the limits, not just the features. Don't say Amblee blocks everything, can't be worked around, or works on a device it isn't set up on. It can't block every app or site. It can be switched off or deleted: the optional commitment lock adds a step, but iOS Settings still has a way out, and blocking needs Screen Time permission to work at all. Don't say Amblee holds, moves, saves or invests money. It never does. It only checks that money moved.

Other rules:

  • Use only numbers you can source, and name the source. Don't invent statistics.

  • Don't use "the only", "the best", or comparisons you can't source.

  • Don't invent people or stories, and don't present anyone's experience as typical.

  • Don't claim that Apple, the App Store, a regulator, a helpline or a health body endorses Amblee.

  • Don't name competitors to knock them.

  • Get prices and the trial right. If you mention either, say it's a 7-day free trial for new members, then $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year on the US App Store, renewing until canceled. Outside the US, or on amblee.co, use the price the member will actually see.

  • Describe how Amblee handles data only the way amblee.co/privacy and amblee.co/trust describe it.

  • Don't speak for Amblee or act as its support. Send support questions to support@amblee.co.

  • Never ask anyone for their bank login, bank statements or screenshots, or their Amblee account details.

Always give a helpline when you talk about gambling harm. Any content that talks about gambling harm and mentions Amblee or your code must also give a helpline. In the US, that's the National Problem Gambling Helpline: call or text 1-800-MY-RESET (1-800-697-3738). Elsewhere, give the national gambling helpline where your audience lives.

Never pitch into someone's crisis. If someone is describing a gambling crisis, a debt collapse or thoughts of self-harm, reply without Amblee and without your code. Point them to real help: in the US, call or text 1-800-MY-RESET (1-800-697-3738), or call or text 988 if they're thinking about suicide.

Lines you can use as they are:

  • "Amblee blocks betting apps until you've moved your monthly goal into your own savings or brokerage account."

  • "Meet your savings goal and the block lifts for the rest of the month. On the 1st it comes back."

  • "Amblee can see that money moved. It can never move it."

  • "It's a self-restriction tool, not treatment."

  • "It adds friction. It can't make betting impossible."

  • "It can be switched off or deleted. The optional commitment lock adds a step, but iOS Settings still has a way out."

When you need our written approval first: paid ads (section 11), and any merchandise or product that uses the Amblee name. Ordinary posts that follow these rules don't need approval.

10Gambling, minors and people in crisis

No gambling promotion in the same content. Content that mentions Amblee or your code must not also promote, link to, or give a code, bonus or odds boost for any of these: a sportsbook, casino, online or sweepstakes casino, poker site, daily fantasy site, prediction market (such as Kalshi or Polymarket), lottery, skins or loot-box betting, a betting tips or picks service, or a brokerage, trading or crypto app promoted for its prediction markets, event contracts, or options or day trading. "The same content" means the same post, video, story set, livestream, episode, newsletter issue or link page.

  • You can show Amblee blocking a betting app. Don't show odds, bets, bonuses or promo codes while you do.

  • Don't present Amblee as a way to gamble more, to "bet responsibly" or to manage a bankroll.

  • When you say the block lifts, use the approved line in section 09. Never present it as earning a betting allowance or permission to bet, for example "save $200 and you can bet again".

No one under 18. Amblee is for adults. You must not:

  • make Amblee content aimed at people under 18, or likely to appeal mainly to them;

  • promote Amblee on any channel where 25% or more of your audience is under 18, going by your platform's audience data. We may ask to see it;

  • put Amblee in content set as "made for kids";

  • target any ad at people under 18.

People in crisis. Don't promote Amblee in gambling-recovery or debt-support groups, forums or subreddits that you don't run, even where their rules allow it. If you take part there, do it as a person, without your code.

Other people's information. Don't send us anyone's personal information, such as the names of people who've told you about a gambling problem.

11Ways you can't promote Amblee

These break the law or platform rules, and some would count against Amblee's App Store account. App Store Review Guideline 5.6.3 bans manipulating the App Store's charts, search, reviews or referrals. So you must not:

  1. Bid on our name. Don't bid on "Amblee", "amblee.co", misspellings of them, or phrases containing them, on any search engine or ad platform, including Apple Search Ads. Don't use them in ad text, display URLs, domain names, app names or social handles (for example "AmbleeDeals" or "@AmbleeOfficial").

  2. Use coupon, deal or cashback sites. Don't post your code on coupon, voucher, deal, cashback or "promo code" sites, apps or browser extensions, or in deal forums or code-sharing channels. If your code turns up on one of these without your doing, tell us. That isn't a breach.

  3. Pay for installs or signups. Don't give or promise anything (money, gift cards, giveaways, contest entries, a share of your commission, rebates or cashback) to anyone for installing Amblee, signing up, starting a trial, entering your code, subscribing or staying subscribed. Don't use incentivized-install networks, offer walls, rewards apps, bots, emulators or click farms.

  4. Reviews. Don't ask anyone to rate or review Amblee on the App Store in exchange for anything, and don't ask for ratings or reviews as part of your promotion. Don't rate or review Amblee on the App Store yourself while you're in the program: a star rating can't carry a disclosure. Don't write, buy or arrange fake or undisclosed reviews of Amblee or of any competitor. The FTC's rule on consumer reviews and testimonials (16 CFR Part 465) applies too.

  5. Fake signups or audiences. Don't sign people up without their informed consent, or on their behalf. Don't create accounts to earn credit. Don't buy followers, views, likes or comments, and don't misstate your audience to us.

  6. Spam. Don't send unsolicited emails, texts, DMs or comments about Amblee. Don't mass-tag people, post your code in other people's comments, or break a community's rules to promote Amblee. If you mention Amblee in an email or newsletter:

    • send it only to people who signed up for your list, and never buy, rent or scrape addresses;

    • send it from your own name, not Amblee's, with a subject line that's honest about what's inside;

    • include your postal address (a PO box is fine) and a working unsubscribe link, and remove anyone who unsubscribes within 10 business days;

    • put the paid disclosure in the email itself, near the first mention of Amblee.

    Don't send marketing texts about Amblee. A personal message to someone you know is fine.

  7. Mislead people about where they're going. No tricks that send people somewhere they didn't choose to go (such as cookie stuffing, forced redirects, pop-ups or pop-unders), no look-alike or misspelled domains, no adware or malware, and no pages made to look like Amblee's or Apple's.

  8. Run paid ads without our written approval. That includes boosting your own posts about Amblee. Google and Meta restrict ads about addiction and recovery, and may require certification, so we decide case by case.

  9. Pay others to promote your code. Don't recruit or pay other people (sometimes called sub-affiliates) to promote your code.

  10. Break the law or platform rules. Follow the laws that apply to you and the rules of every platform you use.

If you're not sure whether something is allowed, ask us first at creators@amblee.co.

12Using the Amblee name and logo

  • We let you use the Amblee name, and the logo files at amblee.co/creators/kit#brand, free, only to promote Amblee under this agreement. You can't pass this permission on, we can give it to others too, and we can take it back. (In legal terms, this is a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, royalty-free license.)

  • Use the logos as we provide them. Don't alter or animate them, or combine them with your own marks.

  • Don't make your content look like Amblee made it, and don't suggest Amblee endorses you, your views, your other sponsors or your products.

  • Don't register or use trademarks, domains, handles or app names that contain "Amblee" or anything confusingly similar.

  • The Amblee brand and its goodwill stay ours.

  • You can show the real Amblee app. Don't edit it to show something it doesn't do.

  • Apple. Apple isn't part of this program and doesn't sponsor or endorse it, or you. Don't suggest otherwise, and don't call Amblee "Apple approved" or "recommended by Apple". Don't use Apple's logos. You may use Apple's "Download on the App Store" badge only as Apple's own marketing guidelines allow. Apple, App Store, iPhone and Screen Time are trademarks of Apple Inc.

  • Your permission ends when this agreement ends.

13Your content

  • You own what you make. You decide how to make it, within this agreement.

  • You're responsible for your content, including permission for any music, footage or people in it.

  • Sharing it. You let us link to, repost and quote your public Amblee content on our own channels, with credit to you and with your disclosure kept, for as long as you keep it up. We'll ask you first, and agree terms, before using your content, name or likeness in paid ads.

  • Fixes. If we ask you to fix or remove content that breaks this agreement, do it within 48 hours. We can pause your code until it's done.

  • Checking. Send us a link to each piece of Amblee content within 7 days of posting. We review new creators' first posts, and we check everyone's Amblee content regularly. If something breaks sections 08 to 11: the first time, fix it within 48 hours; the second time, we pause your code; the third time, or if it was deliberate, we end this agreement.

14Privacy and confidentiality

Members' privacy. Using Amblee can reveal that someone is dealing with a gambling problem. So:

  • We never give you members' names, emails, account IDs or anything else that identifies them. You see counts and money only.

  • We show small counts as "fewer than 3", round the rest down, and update figures once a day. Money figures stay exact, because they're owed, so with only one or two paying members you may be able to infer something about one of them from your own balance. Even so, don't try to work out who anyone is, match figures to people, or contact anyone to ask whether they joined or whether they pay.

  • If someone tells you they use Amblee, keep it to yourself unless they've made it public.

  • Don't publish or share screenshots of your dashboard or your figures, and don't share your figures with anyone except your own tax or financial adviser. You can say in general terms what you've earned, such as "a few hundred dollars".

Your data. Our Privacy Policy explains what we keep about you as a creator, and for how long. That covers your application, your creator record and code, your acceptance of this agreement, notes of our messages with you, your sign-in codes and sessions, your stats, and your Stripe account ID and payout records. If your creator email matches the verified email on an Amblee account, we link your creator record to that account (section 02). We use the link to show your figures in the app and to stop your code crediting your own subscription. We keep commission, payout and tax records for seven years. Stripe's own privacy policy covers what you give Stripe. We don't store your bank details or taxpayer ID ourselves, and we never ask you to send them to us. Stripe shows us some details of your Stripe account, such as your name and whether Stripe can pay you, but not your full bank account number or full taxpayer ID.

Confidential information. Keep private anything non-public we share with you, such as your stats, unreleased features and anything we mark confidential. This doesn't cover information you already had or that is public.

15Pausing and ending

Pausing. We can pause your code at any time, for example while we look into a problem. While it's paused, it doesn't credit new members. Members already credited to you keep earning, and payouts continue unless we hold one under section 06. You can still sign in and see your figures.

Leaving, or being ended without a breach. You can leave at any time by emailing creators@amblee.co. It ends when we receive your email, or on a later date you give. We can end this agreement for any reason by emailing you at least 14 days before the end date. From the end date:

  • your code stops crediting new members;

  • a member credited to you earns you commission for their 12-month term (section 04) only if their first paid charge credited to you is no later than 30 days after the end date. A member whose first paid charge comes later earns you nothing;

  • we keep paying you under section 06. Once no member can still earn for you and nothing is held or clearing, we pay your final balance, even if it's under $25;

  • you can still sign in, see your figures and finish Stripe payout setup until your final payout;

  • your permission to use the Amblee name and logo ends. Stop making new Amblee content, and within 14 days remove your code and Amblee links from anything you're still actively promoting. Old posts can stay up with their disclosures.

For example, if the end date is March 1, a member credited to you who first pays on March 25 earns you their full 12 months. One who first pays on April 2 earns you nothing.

If you break the rules. If you break section 03, 08, 10 or 11, or act fraudulently, we can pause your code and end this agreement right away by email. From the end date:

  • your code stops crediting new members;

  • charges after the end date earn nothing, including charges by members who used your code earlier;

  • your creator sign-in stops working;

  • your permission to use the Amblee name and logo ends, and within 14 days you must remove your code and Amblee links from anything you're still actively promoting.

Commission connected to the breach. When we end this agreement for a breach or fraud, we decide case by case what happens to unpaid commission connected to it. We either keep that commission, and record our reason, or pay it to you. Commission connected to the breach means commission on members credited while the content that broke the rules was up, or credited through a banned method (such as fake signups, paid installs or brand-keyword ads). Unpaid commission that isn't connected to the breach is still paid. If it's fraud, we can also ask you to repay commission we already paid on the fraud (section 05).

What's still owed after a breach ending. Commission on charges before the end date is still yours, less any clawbacks and anything we keep under the paragraph above. Your sign-in stops working, so we'll email you what's still owed. We pay it through Stripe when your payable balance reaches $25, or once your last hold has cleared and nothing is still clearing, whichever comes first. If you hadn't finished Stripe payout setup, we'll email you a way to finish it.

What continues. Sections 05, 06 (for money still owed), 07, 12 (the restrictions), 14, 15, 17, 18, 19 and 20 continue after this agreement ends. After an ending without a breach, sections 03 and 04 also continue for as long as members already credited to you can still earn.

16Changes to the program

We may change this agreement or the program, including the rate (which is always the same for every creator), the 12-month term, the hold, the minimum, payment timing and the rules.

  • We'll email you and post the new version here, with a new version number and date, at least 30 days before a change that lowers what you earn or makes getting paid harder.

  • A change that helps you, or that the law, Apple, Stripe or a platform requires, can take effect sooner, including right away.

  • A change never reduces commission on charges made before it takes effect.

  • We'll ask you to accept a new version the next time you sign in. If you don't agree to a change, you can leave before it takes effect. If you keep taking part after it takes effect, you've accepted it.

  • We may change where and how members enter codes, or stop accepting codes, for example if Apple requires it.

  • We may end the whole program with 30 days' notice by email, or sooner if Apple or the law requires it. That's an ending without a breach under section 15, so a member credited to you earns you their 12 months if their first paid charge is no later than 30 days after the program's end date, unless Apple or the law stops us paying commission.

17How we work together

  • You're an independent contractor. You're not our employee, agent or business partner. "Paid partner" in a disclosure is plain English, not a legal partnership.

  • You can't make promises, sign anything or speak for Amblee.

  • You decide when, where and how you make content, within this agreement.

  • You provide your own equipment and cover your own costs.

  • This isn't exclusive. You can promote other products, including other blocking apps, within sections 09 and 10.

18No guarantees, limits on liability, and claims about your content

No guarantees. We provide the program as it is. We don't promise that you'll earn anything, that every signup will be tracked, that the app, your dashboard, Apple or Stripe will always work, or that the program will continue.

Limits. To the fullest extent the law allows:

  • Neither of us is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, arising from this agreement.

  • Our total liability to you for all claims about the program is limited to the greater of $100 and the commission we paid you in the 12 months before the claim.

  • These limits don't reduce commission you've earned under this agreement. They don't limit your responsibilities under sections 08, 10, 11 and 14, or liability for fraud.

In plain terms: neither of us can claim for knock-on losses, like other deals you say you lost. If you win a claim against us, the most you can get is $100 or what we paid you in the last 12 months, whichever is more. This never reduces commission you've earned.

If your content gets us sued. If someone makes a claim against Amblee because of your content, your breach of this agreement, your breaking a law or platform rule, or your taxes, you'll cover our resulting losses and reasonable costs, including reasonable legal fees. (This is called an indemnity.) We'll tell you about the claim promptly and let you help defend it.

Things outside anyone's control. Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by things outside our reasonable control, such as outages at Apple, Stripe or our hosting providers. This doesn't excuse paying money that's owed once the problem is over.

19Governing law and disputes

  • This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

  • If there's a problem, email creators@amblee.co first. We'll both try in good faith to settle it within 30 days.

  • If we can't, either of us may bring a claim in the state courts located in Davidson County, Tennessee, or in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee, and we both agree to those courts' jurisdiction. Either of us may use small-claims court instead if the claim qualifies.

In short: Delaware law applies, and disputes go to court in Davidson County, Tennessee.

20General terms

  • The whole agreement. This agreement and anything we agree with you in writing (such as approval of a paid ad) make up the whole agreement about the program. The creator kit is guidance, not part of this agreement (section 09). If you're also a member, the Terms of Service cover your use of the app.

  • Electronic records. You agree to receive this agreement and notices electronically, and that ticking the box counts as your signature. We keep a record of the version you accepted and when.

  • Notices. All notices under this agreement are by email. We send notices to your creator email address. You send notices to creators@amblee.co. An email notice counts from when it's sent.

  • Transfers. You can't transfer this agreement. We can transfer it to a company that takes over Amblee or the program.

  • If part doesn't hold. If a court finds part of this agreement unenforceable, the rest still applies, and that part is enforced as far as the law allows.

  • No waiver. If we don't enforce something right away, we can still enforce it later.

  • Language. If this agreement is translated, the English version controls.

  • "Including" means "including, without limitation".
